Berenika is 15 years old and currently attends her freshman year of high school at Gymnázium Matyáše Lercha in Brno.
In her free time, she is an avid reader. For instance, she is particularly keen on classical English literature. In addition, apart from preparing for the Physics Olympiad, studying an online AP Physics course, and other such academic pursuits, she enjoys fitness and sport, especially indoor and outdoor climbing.
In the future, she would like to study physics and/or mathematics at university, preferably abroad, as she is interested in science, primarily quantum physics.
Denisa is a 19-year-old student interested in science, languages, and technology, aiming to learn many new things.
She is in her last year at the High School of Information Technology and Tourism. Her major is IT, but she would like to combine that with Physics and Maths during her university studies in a foreign country.
Her hobbies include reading fiction and non-fiction books, puzzle-solving, and computing. She also enjoys staying fit, not less than volunteering in a local library, because she likes helping other people.
Kristina is currently in her final year of secondary school at The English College in Prague. She is graduating (fingers crossed) with an International Baccalaureate with the hopes of studying the Bachelor of Physics at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Whilst she is most passionate about pursuing physics, she has other fulfilling interests. These include a multitude of sports, particularly football and horse riding, reading, vintage shopping and spending time with friends.
Subhroneel works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. His research primarily focuses on string theory. He is passionate about teaching and communicating physics. He strongly believes most of the school curriculum around the globe does not do an excellent job of conveying what science is really all about! Any mistakes in these notes are his sole responsibility. In contrast, the applause should primarily be reserved for his three brilliant young co-authors.
Subhroneel claims he prefers to spend his free time with Madhurima, his better half. Madhurima, on the other hand, says Subhroneel spends his leisure time reading insatiably, playing/watching football, and occasionally cooking or hiking with her.
